Do not go to see The March of the Penguins! The film is a documentary about the complicated life of the Emperor Penguin in Antarctica. It is a French movie that was playing when Danny and I were in Paris in February. We wanted to see it then, but the language barrier would have prevented Danny from enjoying it very much. We saw it this weekend and the American distributors ruined it! The French version of the film includes music by Emilie Simon, which gives the film an interesting soundtrack, but the American version is like watching an hour and a half of National Geographic Explorer. Wait for the French version to be released in DVD and watch it at home. In the meantime, buy Emilie Simon's soundtrack for the French film "La Marche de L'Empereur."

It's still HOT, but the heat is so much more bearable when you are traveling. Danny's birthday trip to Philadelphia went well even though I had food poisoning and it was HOT! I just got back from a trip to Baltimore where I visited Laura and Kevin. I got a lot of shopping done and finally got to see the inner harbor and downtown Baltimore. I also almost saw an Orioles vs. Yankees baseball game, but it was rained out. Laura and I did "run into" Derek Jeter, Jorge Posada, and Tino Martinez though.
