A French CNN

This month the French government started a 24-hour news channel called France 24. The news channel gives a "French" view of world events the way BBC gives a British view, CNN gives an American view, and Al-Jazeera gives an Arab view. The channel is scheduled to be broadcast in French, English, and Arabic in France, the Middle East, Africa, and the East coast of the US. I haven't found it listed by Cablevision yet, but you can read the news online.
